  • * What’s in Athletic Greens?
    * How does it work?
    * Where can I buy Athletic Greens?

  • * Is it affordable?

  • * I thought I’d use my experience with this product to

  • answer these questions and more as I share with you!

Atletic Greens

Athletic Greens is one of many green supplements available on the market today. Green supplements are essentially concentrates of fruits, vegetables, herbs, grasses and algae usually presented in a powdered form. They are not meant to replace your intake of fruits and vegetables, but should be used in conjunction with a balanced diet and an active lifestyle.

They are nutritionally dense and designed to supply you with a wide range of vitamins, minerals, and other health supporting components such as prebiotics, probiotics and digestive enzymes. An interesting note here about prebiotics – while probiotics are the beneficial micro-organisms that live in your gut, prebiotics are actually “food” to help the probiotics thrive! (Bet that already has you wondering “Where can I buy Athletic Greens?” Keep reading to find out.)

This product is perhaps one of the most potent green supplements around. It gives you up to twelve servings of fruits and vegetables in one serving. It is made from over seventy natural ingredients many of which are certified as “organic”. There are no additives or synthetic chemicals in this supplement and it comes to you as an easy to prepare powder with a naturally sweet taste.

Athletic Greens Benefits

  • Easily digested and absorbed ensuring that you get optimal nutritional benefit from each serving

  • Increased energy

  • Improvements in your digestive health and intestinal functions

  • Improved immune system

  • Fits perfectly into any diet plan (Auto-immune, Vegan, Paleo, etc.) and can be used by anyone – male or female.

My Story

Now to my story, then I’ll answer that burning “Where can I buy Athletic Greens” question.

I’ve been taking Athletic Greens for several years and love them! I have never been on any particular type of diet, but I have often struggled with poor digestive health and the roller coaster of weight gain and weight control issues. Gas, bloating, indigestion and heartburn seemed like my constant companions. Over the counter medications were my way of coping and believe me – I was not coping very well!

My husband is actually the one who started me on the right track to getting a handle on just what was causing my digestive problems and how to go about remedying them. He came across an article about bacteria in the digestive tract and how their presence or absence can affect our weight.

I did some research of my own and discovered that there are natural ways to encourage the growth and that these micro-organisms actually help you to keep control of your weight.

Further research led me to the amazing benefits of green supplements and I decided to give them a try. Let me be honest with you, some of the ones I initially tried tasted horrible (kind of like pureed lawn cuttings).

But I am glad I continued my search, because I finally came across some informative product reviews that promised a host of benefits with a great taste. Of course “Where Can I Buy Athletic Greens?” was my first questions.

So, “Where Can I Buy Athletic Greens?”

You do have the option of purchasing this green supplement by going to the company’s website where they offer you a discount for buying a two-month supply. It is also possible to purchase the product through select online retailers. But since you are already on this site, why not take advantage of a 50% off coupon offer by filling out and submitting the form?

This is a great opportunity if you are wondering not only “Where can I buy Athletic Greens?” but also asking “How much does Athletic Greens cost?” The answer is that it happens to be on the pricier side as far a green supplements go.

Make no mistake though, with all the nutritional and health benefits it provides, it is well worth it.

Athletic Greens is now a part of my daily routine and I incorporate it into my morning protein shake. My husband samples it every now and then and agrees with me that the taste is far better than most of the other green supplements we have tried.

So these days I am enjoying greater self-esteem as I am managing to maintain a healthy weight by avoiding excess fat, refined sugar, alcohol, and junk food, and by using Athletic Greens as my very helpful nutritional supplement. My digestive ills are also a thing of the past and I credit this product with helping in that area too. I also love the fact that it comes in travel packs which makes it easier for us to take on trips.

There you have it. Not only do you now know “where”, you also know what’s in it and how exactly it works. The introductory offer is hard to beat. Stop wondering “Where Can I Buy Athletic Greens?” and just click on that 50% off button.

omg! really? Can’t figure out the reason for the increased cost? It is because of the expensive SPIRULINA! It is the first ingredient on the list.

It could be the Spirulina. I’m not sure why it’s so expensive -maybe it’s their marketing model. It’s unfortunate because it is an excellent product.

      • Well, finally! Someone mentions weight loss. That is the main reason I took the trial offer. The advertisement said it also helps one lose weight. Is there anyone who used Athletic Greens and actually lost weight? The health benefits are great… but I was hoping to shed a few pounds too.

        Hi Beverly,

Thanks for your comments. Any good quality green drink can be a very helpful weight loss tool. First of all, dark-green vegetables, algae and grasses are nutrient-dense. They provide nutrition to the cells and the cells in turn provide us energy. Secondly, using a quality green drink as a meal replacement will help reduce caloric intake which will also help to achieve weight-loss -and healthy weight loss at that.

    • This amount for a month is insanely pricey for what looks like a smoothie. I’m all for trying to shed some pounds but I can’t see paying nearly $1,200 a year to do it (actually more when you add in the S&H fees).

At that price it should also have fountain of youth properties. My gray hair should start turning black again and my skin will return to infant perfect smoothness.

Too expensive! Prefer buying spiraling + vegetables, blend them together and drink! (Probably is even better this way!)

    • I am just a regular 47 year old mother of 2 that knew my body was not working right. I put off ordering Athletic Greens for about a year for all the reasons above… I was skeptical… But I gotta tell you…. It has been a game changer for me. I am totally weaned off of needing soda & caffeine to get through my day and off anti depressants ( which I didn’t really think I needed to begin with). My body had been feeling ” off” and this stuff must work because I feel much much better and more in balance. It actually tastes REALLY good , like papaya and while it looks disgusting, easy to gulp down each day. The $$ saved on coffee, diet coke, meds and doctor co-pays to try and figure out why I felt lousy is waaay worthy of the $97 a month… And I assure you I really can’t afford it but my health and well being is priority one right now. My husband now going to give it a try…. Which in itself is a miracle… Because he is pretty tight with spending money… But I think he sees how much better i feel mentally and physically. I don’t normally respond to stuff but i held off on this for so long and am sorry I did. I could have felt better a year earlier. I have been losing about a pound a week since starting this… but it goes hand in hand in feeling better so I have been exercising and watching my sugar/ processed food intake. The auto ship/ pay does not bother me…. One less hassle to worry about and yes… It’s their business model. They are allowed to make money. Wish I thought of it!!

      Thanks Beth,

Finally someone I agree with in everyway, including having a cheap husband in which i am hoping to inspire to use this. I am so tired of all the whining about the cost. What you said is true; you can’t put a price on good health. Also I was spending a fortune too on coffee drinks, soda, sugary foods and anti depressants, alot more then $97. Hell have you seen what it costs to get a smoothie at a juice bar. The $97 is a lot less then i pay for all of the above to feel good. And by the way the taste is pretty good and i do feel better but i just started using it, hope it continues as it promises.

I did the Athletic Greens free trial and then canceled about a week before the subscription would kick in. I got a little resistance over the phone but it was basically hassle-free and I didn’t have to send any product back. Agreed. It is over priced. However, I’m now on a mission to find something to replicate the results I felt I got from Athletic Greens. I’m not experienced in this but I was very pleased with what I perceived as the benefits from AG: more energy, better nite’s sleep, less carb craving…..and I thought I could have made some inroads on weight control had I stuck with it. But not for 3+$ a day. So I’m looking. Thanks for the opportunity to comment and read others’ thoughts….very helpful.

    • I’ve read all of the comments and have to say that I believe all the inputs good and bad about this product and company. I’m a disabled Vietnam Vet who was one of the lucky guys who was exposed to the defoliants and pesticides used during the war. About three years ago it finally caught up to me in a big way and I’ve been suffering from chronic fatigue and pain ever since. I’ve been under the care of so many physicians it’s hard to keep them all straight, including traditional and homeopathic to try and improve my situation. Yes the cost is incredibly high, (way too much for us folks on a fixed income) but having said this, the medical professionals have pumped me so full of pills, tablets, powders, liquids and monthly injections, it doesn’t seem so bad when you add up the cost of the pharmaceuticals and natural remedies to this product. I’ve been taking it now for about a month and have seen weight loss which is incidental to me, but more importantly I feel better today than I have in the last three years.

I have been taking Athletic Greens for 2 weeks now and I will say that while it does taste good to me and I have noticed an increase in energy, I have had bad faltulence and severe constipation since I begin taking it. This alone will probably cause me to stop taking it. My friend and I started at the same time and while they have experienced the exact same flatulence issue, they have had very good bowel movements and increased energy.

      Screeba,
I don’t mean to scare you, but if you are near 50 years old and having problems with constipation and gas after you stopped the Athletic Green, go get a colonoscopy. My grandmother had a similar issue that she thought was due to a diet change and if she had gotten one sooner the cancer wouldn’t have grown as much as it did. No colon cancer in her family before her. Something to think about.

A lot of people who start taking a green drink for the first time will notice some changes to their bowel movements including increased flatulence. This is directly related to the superfood greens and is normal. Your body will adjust to this.

I have been using the AG’s for 6 months. I dropped 35 pounds within the first 2 months but I was also following the elimination diet that the founder suggests. I have never felt better. I used to have horrible eczema, joint pain, digestive issues. I have none of that now. I have run 2 5k’s this summer. I called and got the “Trinity Pack” which includes omegas and Vit D. The cost is hard, and I have been looking for something equivalent that’s easier on my wallet, but I will keep paying until I find it. It’s worth it to me to feel this good.

Great website! I actually came to this site to find a replacement for my Athletic Greens. I’ve been taking AG for about 6 months now and am quite happy with the product and benefits. But am looking for something not so pricey. If you have a hard time choking down some of the other green drinks I recommend this as the taste isn’t bad, and that comes from a picky eater and I just mix it with water. A lot of people hating on the customer service here but I have had good encounters with them. After my trial order came the next bag was shipped to me with a very small hole so there was some powder getting out. I called to let them know and they sent me a new one no questions asked and gave me the 20% discount on my future orders. (I also used the opened bag just fine) So now I get it with shipping for around $86. And have called them a couple times to adjust the auto-ship timing with no problems. I haven’t tried a lot of green superfoods but this seems to work well for me, just wish it wasn’t so spendy.

I’ve been taking that for a couple months now with amazing results. More energy and joint pain almost completely gone! Check it out.

Stay healthy my friends!

I must say, I have been taking Athletic Greens every morning for over 2 years now. I can honestly say that I feel terrific every single day. I am 76 years old and clean houses for a living. Nobody believes how old I am and I can work circles around young people. The one thing that I notice with older people is how they all seem to have problems with their weight which affects their legs. I do not have any problem and can still run with my grandchildren. I swear by the Athletic Greens that I take every day. No one is paying me to write this but I was reading the comment section and feel obliged to respond. My husband takes Athletic Greens also and he is a strong, energetic 77 year old. He also workks every day. We have stopped all the previous vitamins that we took and take only the Athletic Greens so it makes the cost seem less pricey as the benefits to us are worth it. It certainly is alot cheaper than being sick and going to the doctor which neither of us do. By the way, we also have 11 children and some of them also take Athletic Greens because they have seen the benefits to us. I hope our experience helps someone. Oh yes, I took a package to a health food store to see if they had anything equivalent but cheaper in price and the lady said that I had better stick with what I had as they didn’t have anything as complete as mine. I hope this helps.

Can you put these green veggies and other ingredients in a nutirbullet and get the same result? Add in carrots and drink Green tea. Right?

    Hi Teja,

You bet you can. Most people don’t though on a day-to-day basis. Especially when it comes to obscure antioxidants and other nutrients that are tough to buy at the supermarket. But if you can do it consistently, there is nothing better for your health that that.

    Thanks so much for contributing.

I LOVED this product. It makes me feel great, helps my digestion, and taste really good. Unfortunately I cannot afford it. When I called to cancel, customer service was very friendly and helpful, issued a credit right away and told me to keep what I had. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive, other than that I have nothing bad to say about this product.

My husband just sent me a link to the Texas Superfoods website asking me to compare it to Athletic Greens (I’ve been using AG for over 3 years now). My research on Texas Superfoods brought me to this site and then to this page, specifically. I felt I should throw my hat in the proverbial ring as there seems to be an awful lot of negative comments about Athletic Greens here. I’m a stay at home mother of 4 (ages 7, 4 and 2 year old twins). I started taking AG as a supplement when my second child was 6 months old. I have to say, I love the stuff! I am 44 and have never looked or felt better in my life. I used it through my twin pregnancy and while nursing (took it to my OB to be sure and got the OK). It is definitely pricey, although it is the only supplement I take (with the exception of my Omega 3s) and so I don’t mind investing in my health. Would rather pay on the front end to stay healthy than give to pharma later to try and get healthy. I have not had issues with their customer service. They’ve always been very friendly when I’ve moved the delivery date for one reason or another. Anyway – Real customer with 3 years experience: LOVE the product and have no issues with the customer service.

I have learned so much in the past 6 or 7 years about the importance of healthy eating! So much so that I have a passion for passing on and teaching others, my daughters, family and friends, the importance of a healthier lifestyle! The hardest thing for me is the profit that others/companies seem to have to make in order to inform and make available the tools and products that would give more people the opportunity, financially, to live healthier! I love Athletic Greens! I want so much for my three daughters to be able to take Athletic Greens every morning when they wake up, as they all have some physical issues going on, non of which are bad right now but most certainly will if they don’t change their lifestyle, which to me includes taking Athletic Greens! But, unfortunately they can’t always afford to eat organically, nor just as myself, take Athletic Greens, and is the reason I will have to cancel my future orders!!

SUMMARY

Athletic Greens is a great product. I’m  impressed with the amount of ingredients, quality of ingredients and the antioxidants, probiotics and digestive enzymes. From a pure health-benefit point of view it is one of the better green drinks we’ve reviewed. And furthermore, it tastes great.

As we mentioned before, we’ve been honest with our opinion that with 50% off per 30-day supply, you could find better value options elsewhere. However, with 50% off per 30-day canister, we put Athletic Greens smack dab in the top-tier of our green drinks.

We receive a lot of comments and there are a lot of folks who absolutely swear by this product. And we get it… Athletic Greens is very good-tasting and a high-quality product.
